How Posti works
Posti is an auto-posting service: you prepare content, and it publishes on schedule to Telegram, VK and Instagram*. Below is a clear walkthrough of every feature: from connecting networks and creating posts to the AI assistant and teamwork.
7 days free, no credit card required
Getting started
Posti is an auto-posting service for social networks. You prepare content once, and the service publishes it on a schedule to Telegram, VKontakte and Instagram* — to multiple accounts at once. Facebook* publishes with limited access (see the “Connecting social networks” section).
How to start
- 1Sign up by email or with the “Sign in with Yandex” button and confirm consent to personal data processing.
- 2Connect social networks in the “Accounts” section — details in the next section.
- 3Create your first post in the “Create post” section: write text, add media and pick accounts.
- 4Publish immediately (“Send now”) or pick a date and time (“Schedule post”).
- 5Track the schedule in the “SMM calendar” and stats in the “Analytics” section.
On sign-up an organization is created for you — a workspace where accounts, posts and settings are stored. Later you can invite colleagues there in the “Team” section.
Connecting social networks
All social networks are connected in the “Accounts” section → the “Prepare to connect” block. Full publishing works for Telegram, VKontakte, Instagram*, Pinterest and Odnoklassniki. Facebook* connects and publishes, but access is currently limited to test accounts (see the Facebook* section below). The other networks are in demo mode for now.
For each connected account you can set a default watermark — it is applied automatically to all images in that network (unless a different watermark is chosen in the post). An account is disconnected with the trash button on its card.
Telegram
- 1In the @BotFather bot send the /newbot command, set the bot name and username, then copy the token like 123456789:AAE…
- 2Add the bot as an administrator of your channel with permission to send messages.
- 3In the “Accounts” section choose Telegram, paste the token and specify the channel Chat ID: @username for public or a numeric ID like -1001234567890 for private.
- 4Click “Connect” — the channel appears in the list of connected accounts.
Text formatting, photos (up to 10 images per post as an album) and video are supported.
Telegram stories (Telegram Business)
Telegram stories are published on behalf of your personal profile via Telegram Business: the bot connects to the owner's account and gets the right to manage stories.
- 1Connect the Telegram channel with a regular bot (steps above) — the bot must be a channel admin.
- 2In the Telegram app open Settings → Telegram Business → Chatbots, add this bot and enable the “Manage stories” right.
- 3In the “Accounts” section, on the channel card click “Check” — the story status should become “@username ✓”.
- 4Create a story in the “Stories” section — it appears in your profile's stories.
VKontakte
- 1Find the community ID — a positive number. It is visible in the community page address (vk.com/club12345678 → ID 12345678) or in the community settings.
- 2In the “Accounts” section choose VKontakte, enter the community ID and click “Authorize in VK”.
- 3Grant the app access in the popup — the community appears in the accounts list.
Instagram*
- 1Switch the Instagram* account to professional (business or creator).
- 2In the “Accounts” section choose Instagram* and click “Authorize in Instagram*”.
- 3Grant access via Business Login for Instagram* — the account appears in the list.
Photos, video and carousels are supported. Images are converted to JPEG.
Facebook*
Connection is done via Login for Business: on authorization the service gets access to all your Facebook* pages and the Instagram* accounts linked to them — a single sign-in connects both the Pages and the linked Instagram*.
Publishing works: posts (text, photo and video) are placed on the chosen Page; for Instagram* the standard Meta container flow is used.
- 1In the “Accounts” section choose Pinterest — you are taken to Pinterest to confirm access to the account and boards.
- 2After returning to Posti the account appears in the connected list. The first board is selected automatically.
- 3To publish to another board, open the Pinterest account card and choose the board in the dropdown.
- 4When publishing a post, each media file becomes a separate pin: the first carries the title and description, the rest carry the title.
Odnoklassniki
- 1In the “Accounts” section choose Odnoklassniki — you are taken to OK to confirm access to the account.
- 2Optionally specify a group ID for publishing (optional): if left empty, posts are published to your personal page.
- 3After returning to Posti the account appears in the connected list.
- 4When publishing, text, photos and video are placed in the feed — on the personal page or in the specified group.
Zen
There is no official public API for auto-posting to Yandex.Zen, so Posti publishes to Zen via a Telegram bridge — Zen automatically picks up posts from the linked Telegram channel:
- 1In your Yandex.Zen channel settings, link a Telegram channel (Zen automatically picks up posts from it).
- 2In the “Accounts” section choose Zen and specify the bot (token) and the same Telegram channel (chat_id) as for Telegram connection.
- 3On publishing, Posti sends the post to this channel, and Zen places it in your Zen channel.
YouTube
YouTube connects via Google authorization (OAuth): in the “Accounts” section click the YouTube card → “Authorize in YouTube” → confirm access to your channel. Posts that have a video file are published: the title is taken from the first line of text, the description from the whole post text. The Google refresh token does not expire, so no need to reconnect.
Demo mode
TikTok, X, Threads, WhatsApp, MAX, LinkedIn, Reddit and Bluesky connect in demo mode: just specify the page name and link or username — OAuth authorization is not required. Publishing to these networks is not available yet.
*Meta Platforms Inc. (owner of Facebook and Instagram) is recognized as an extremist organization and its activities are banned in the Russian Federation.
Creating and publishing posts
The post builder is in the “Create post” section. On the left is the content, on the right is a live preview with tabs for each chosen network.
Text
Select a text fragment to open the formatting panel: bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, quote, spoiler and link. Next to it is emoji selection. The character counter accounts for the limits of the chosen networks: X — 280, Threads — 500, Telegram and VKontakte — 4096.
AI assistant inside the editor
Open the “AI assistant” panel, specify the post topic, tone (neutral, friendly, professional or selling) and length, then click “Generate text”. The result can be inserted into the post or regenerated. Available on “Pro” and “Business” plans.
Media — up to 10 files
Upload files from the device (PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF, MP4, MOV, WebM) or paste a direct link to an image or video — the type is detected automatically. The “Compress images” toggle: on — files are compressed for fast upload, off — published in original quality.
File size limits by network
Limits are set by each network's API and may change without notice. When choosing several networks in a post, consider the strictest limit. The post editor shows a warning if a file exceeds the chosen network's limit.
| Network | Photo | Video |
|---|---|---|
| Telegram | 10 MB | 50 MB |
| VKontakte | 10 MB | 200 MB |
| Instagram* | 8 MB | 100 MB |
| Facebook* | 10 MB | 1 000 MB |
| 20 MB | ||
| YouTube | — | 128 GB |
| Odnoklassniki | 20 MB | 500 MB |
| Zen (via Telegram) | 10 MB | 50 MB |
Design template
You can attach a ready-made template from the gallery to a post. If the post has no own media, the template automatically becomes an image on publishing.
Watermark
Choose one of the created marks or disable it for this post. The post's mark takes priority over the account's default mark.
Publishing
Mark accounts with chips in the “Where to publish” field and choose an action: “Send now” — immediate publishing to all chosen networks; “Schedule post” — if date and time are set; “Save draft” — without time.
Post statuses
Calendar and lists
The “SMM calendar” is a monthly grid with all scheduled posts: arrows switch months, today is highlighted, each post shows network icons and the start of its text. The “Posts” and “New posts” sections are lists with filters by status (all, drafts, scheduled, published) and period, deletion, and an “Export CSV” button (exports each post's statuses, text, dates and networks).
Stories
The “Stories” section — upload a vertical photo or video 9:16 (PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF, MP4, MOV, WebM), optionally add a caption, choose accounts and decide when to publish: “Publish now”, “Schedule” or “Draft”. The “My stories” list shows each story's status; drafts have a “Publish” button.
Where they publish: VKontakte — community stories (images only); Telegram — stories of your personal profile via Telegram Business, photo and video. How to enable Telegram stories — in the “Connecting social networks” section above.
Reposter
The reposter automatically transfers content from external sources to your social networks. It is created in the “Reposter” section: specify a name, source, check frequency and accounts to publish to.
Source: RSS feed
Any RSS feed, e.g. https://example.com/feed.xml. New feed items are published as posts.
Source: Telegram channel
Any of your connected Telegram channels. Text and photos are transferred; the bot sees only new posts — channel history is unavailable.
Check frequency: from every 30 minutes to once a day. Each reposter can be managed: paused or started, its source checked instantly with the “Check now” button (the service shows how many new posts were found) or deleted. Duplicates are excluded — each source item is published only once.
Templates and editor
The “Templates” section has a gallery of 12 ready-made templates (1080x1080 for the feed and 1080x1920 for stories) with search and categories: social networks, ads, quotes, holidays. Each template has two buttons:
- “Use in post” — attach the template to a new post;
- “Open in editor” — customize it in the canvas editor.
The editor supports text, rectangles, ellipses and lines, a two-color gradient background, and color, size, weight and text-alignment settings. The finished design is downloaded with the “Download PNG” button.
AI assistant
The “Assistant” section combines two tools:
- Chat — a conversational assistant for ideas, content plans and SMM strategies. It remembers the last 20 messages of the dialog.
- Text writing — a post generator: specify the topic, tone (neutral, friendly, professional, selling), platform (universal, VKontakte, Telegram, Instagram*, Facebook*) and length. The result is copied with one button.
The AI assistant is available on “Pro” and “Business” plans. It is also built into the post builder.
Watermarks
The “Watermarks” section is for creating marks that are applied to images automatically on publishing.
A mark can be text (with color and weight choice) or an image (file upload or link). You can configure position (horizontal and vertical), size (5–60% of image width) and opacity (5–100%). The result is visible in the post preview before publishing.
The number of marks is limited by plan slots: “Start” — 1, “Pro” — 3, “Business” — 10. An extra slot costs 1 EUR. Marks apply by priority: the one chosen in the post → the account's default; a mark can be fully disabled in the post.
Projects
The “Projects” section groups social pages, e.g. by brand or client. Pages without a project are in the “No project” group. Projects can be created, renamed and deleted — deleting a project does not lose pages; they move to “No project”.
Team
The “Team” section is for collaboration in the organization. Member roles:
- Owner — full access, cannot be removed from the team;
- Administrator — manages the team and organization settings;
- Member — works with posts and content.
To invite a colleague, click “Invite”, specify an email and role — the service generates a join link. Send it to the person any way convenient: following the link, they register or log in and join the organization. Inactive invitations can be revoked. The member limit depends on the plan: 1 / 5 / 20.
Analytics
The “Analytics” section shows statistics on your publications:
- summary cards: total posts, published, scheduled, drafts, errors, stories, accounts, reposters;
- publishing success rate as a percentage;
- charts: posts over 14 days, publications by platform, by time of day, by day of week, top pages and distribution by status;
- feed of recent posts.
Data can be exported with the “Export CSV” button in the “Posts” and “New posts” sections.

Notifications
The bell in the header collects important events: publishing errors (with the error text), plan limits (e.g. social pages or watermark slots exhausted), team invitations and service messages. Unread notifications are marked with a counter; the “mark all read” button marks them viewed at once.
Frequently asked questions
How do I connect a Telegram channel?+
Create a bot via @BotFather, add it as a channel administrator, then on the “Accounts” page specify the bot token and channel chat_id. A detailed step-by-step guide is in the “Connecting social networks” section above.
Why do Telegram stories show “not connected”?+
Telegram stories are published via Telegram Business: in the app open Settings → Telegram Business → Chatbots, add your channel's bot with the “Manage stories” right and click “Check” on the account card in Posti. If the bot also serves another service via webhook (e.g. n8n), connection updates bypass Posti — create a separate “clean” bot for Posti. A step-by-step guide is in the “Connecting social networks” section.
Why wasn't the post published?+
Open the post card in the “Posts” section: if its status is “Error”, the error text is nearby. Common reasons: the bot was removed from channel admins or the token was revoked, the app lacks publish rights, the plan's post limit was reached, and for Instagram* — the 100 posts/day limit was exceeded or the 60-day access token expired. A notification about the error also arrives in the bell.
Can I publish one post to several networks at once?+
Yes. In the post builder mark the needed accounts in the “Where to publish” field — the post goes to all chosen networks at once. Each network has its own live preview, and the character counter accounts for the limits of all chosen platforms.
How does post scheduling work?+
When creating a post, specify a date and time — it gets the “Scheduled” status. The scheduler checks the queue every 30 seconds and at the set time automatically publishes the post to all chosen networks. If no time is set, the post is saved as a draft.
How does “Repeat publication” work?+
Choose an interval (every day / week / 2 weeks / month) and optionally a “Repeat until” date (inclusive). The first post goes at the time from the “Schedule” field — or immediately if you click “Send now”. After a successful publish, the next identical post is created automatically after the interval: with the same text, media and targets. The chain stops when the next post's date is later than “Repeat until”. You can stop the cycle early with the “Stop repeats” button on the nearest post in the chain. Images and videos of the chain are not deleted while the cycle is active.
What does the reposter do?+
The reposter periodically checks the source — an RSS feed or Telegram channel — and automatically publishes new items to the chosen networks. Each item is published only once: no repeats. The source can also be checked manually with the “Check now” button.
How do I add a team member?+
Open the “Team” section, click “Invite”, specify an email and role. The service generates a join link — copy it and send it to the person any way convenient. They follow the link, register or log in and join your organization.
What file formats are supported?+
Images: PNG, JPEG, WebP and GIF. Video: MP4, MOV and WebM. Up to 10 files can be attached to a post. The max file size depends on the plan: from 50 MB on the “Start” plan to 2000 MB on “Business”.
What is demo mode for network connection?+
TikTok, X, Threads, WhatsApp, MAX, LinkedIn, Reddit and Bluesky are currently in demo mode: just specify the page name and link, OAuth authorization is not required. Publishing to these networks is not implemented yet — stay tuned. Fully working: Telegram, VKontakte, Instagram*, Pinterest, Odnoklassniki and YouTube (video). Zen publishes via the Telegram bridge (see the “Connecting social networks” section). Facebook* publishes with limited access (see the “Connecting social networks” section).
How do the plans differ?+
Plans differ by limits: number of social pages, team members, posts per month, uploaded file size, post history and watermark slots, as well as access to stories and the AI assistant. Full comparison — in the “Plans and limits” section above and on the “Plans & billing” page.
How do I delete a post or disconnect an account?+
Post: “Posts” section → post card → delete button (with confirmation). Account: “Accounts” section → account card → “Disconnect account” button. Disconnecting an account does not delete created posts.
